Rising nearly 200 feet from the center of campus, the IUPUI Campus Center bell tower symbolizes the new heights reached by our campus community. Although the Campus Center has quickly become the hub of student life at IUPUI since its opening in January 2008, something is missing.
Missing is the sound of bells signaling the passing of each hour.
Missing is the IUPUI fight song echoing through the campus in celebration of milestones and special events.
A gift to the Campus Center Bell Campaign will help complete an IUPUI landmark and usher in the first in a series of new campus traditions. In celebration of IUPUI's 40th anniversary, we are asking donors to consider a gift of in one of the following amounts:
$40, $140, $240, $540, $1,040, $2,540
Individual gifts will assist us in:
• Acquiring a new, two-octave set of bells cast in the Netherlands
• Digitally enhancing the bells with the Millennium VERITAS system to produce the sound of a four-octave, 49-bell carillon
• Installing the bells in the Campus Center bell tower
• Covering electrical and engineering costs for installation and annual maintenance
• Funding concerts
